I am an AOL user, and can not see some of the web pages.
A word about this site and the America Online Browser...
AOL users have reported problems viewing the dynamic
content on our site, such as the pages that support
our Inmate Query. These problems have been confirmed
by our quality control team. Unfortunately, due
to the design of the built-in AOL browser as well
as the way AOL's proxy servers work, the ability
to resolve the matter is out of our control.
Additionally, our site is designed to use small,
high-quality graphics which download quickly. Again,
due to the design of the built-in AOL browser,
these high-quality graphics may sometimes display
as blurry, low resolution images. This will impact
your experience as your visit our site.
We offer the following suggestions for those that
experience such problems:
First, be sure that the "Use Compressed Images" checkbox
is NOT checked under your "Web Preferences".
Frequently, this will solve the problem, allowing
the AOL browser to properly display the images
on our site.
To access our Inmate Query, or for that matter
to experience our entire site as it is intended
to be seen, please use either Netscape Navigator
or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Both are compatible
with AOL's software. For your convenience, you
can use these links to download this software.
Netscape Internet Explorer
I heard about a new feature on your website, but I still see an old version
of your page.
Most browsers will save a snapshot of the sites that you visit in a temporary
area of your hard drive to speed up access on subsequent visits. This
can prevent you from viewing content that has recently been updated.
To resolve this issue, clear all of the temporary files in your browser's
cache. The procedure to do this will vary with different browsers. Check
your browser's documentation to determine the proper means to perform
this task. Some additional notes can be seen on our technical support
page.
